Youth Camp 2009 - "In Pursuit"
This year's Youth Camp was awesome. The students not only had a great time at Alpine Slides, a moonlit cruise on the lake, miniture golf, volleyball, swimming, water games and on and on.......they were challenged to make their lives count for eternity by pursuing God!
As the week long camp progressed, it became more and more evident that we have a group of young people who desire to know God, and are willing to live their lives on this pathway.
With just a handful of faithful followers, Jesus Christ changed the world by bringing the message that anyone who believes in Him can have eternal life (John 3:16). Those who believed this message radically changed the world. My challenge to our young people attending the camp (this year and previously) is to bring this message to our comminities through their testimonies and lifestyles. With these few becoming truly committed to pursue God as were those early disciples, our cities can be transformed into an aroma of hope and peace.
